FIDx Desk Advisor Consultant
**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES **
FIDx is currently looking for an Advisor Consultant to join our FIDx Desk OID team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our Broker Dealer, FIDx Markets, within already signed BD and RIA firms. They will be focused on advisor adoption and growth working in coordination with our Carrier partners and Envestnet. This will include profiling and engaging in the most significant opportunities, creating sales pipelines and the utilization of the FIDx Desk Sales process. They will function as Agent of Record on individual Insurance Policies where appropriate. They will use all resources available to them including marketing, technology, and data to identify and forge relationships within their respective territory. The candidate will work with the FIDx Markets team to coordinate sales activities supporting the full range of carrier products available on the FIDx Markets Outsourced Insurance Desk. Specific responsibilities include:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Registered Investment Advisors.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall sales objectives. Identify target markets, develop a sales pipeline, and establish sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Update and manage Salesforce database to reflect accurate client information and interaction.
- Handle inbound phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Follow phone scripts and use knowledge of FIDx Desk’s products and services to go off-script when necessary.
- Identify customer needs, research issues, resolve complaints, and provide solutions.
- Partners with marketing on the creation of communication materials. Use critical reading and editing skills to ensure materials produced further the development of the FIDx Desk brand.
- Data and metrics tracking: tracks/reports key deliverables and dates across organization. Escalates issues or roadblocks as they arise.
- Calendar management: sets the calendar with daily ownership of itinerary, including meeting deliverables, communications, or follow through.
- Support the client sales engagements throughout the entire sales cycle (outreach, meeting coordination, platform technology demonstrations, sales presentations and overall service and support.)
- Be Agent of record on individual annuity policies and work with IARs and advisors to recommend suitable products for the end customer.
- overseeing the sales process including coordination of FIDx and Carrier subject matter experts
- supporting, outbound sales campaigns, thought leadership events, press releases and sales communications.
- representing FIDx Desk at industry conferences and partner firm regional events.
- Maintain relationships with distribution firm regional leadership, carrier wholesalers within their territories and the Envestnet advisory sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Eagerness to lead and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced financial environment.
- SIE, Series 6, 63/66 and insurance licensed or the ability to obtain licenses in a specified period.
- The candidate must have excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Technology aptitude with willingness to learn and excel at demonstrating technology capabilities.
- Knowledge of investment management, insurance, and wealth management industry is preferred.
- Excellent teamwork and partnering skills to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external partners.
- Excellent Phone presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing concepts, including lead management processes, customer lifecycle, lead nurturing, and enterprise client management.
- Strong traits and experience in building trusting relationships and rapport with customers and ability to identify new needs from satisfied customers to create future opportunities.
Physical Effort & Travel:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and corresponding through phone, video calls, or email.
- Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds at times.
- Travel as needed.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This job operates in an office environment in Berwyn 4-5 days a week with occasional work from home on Fridays. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. On occasion the job will require going out in the field to visit clients. The work schedule for this position will be primarily Monday through Friday during typical business hours; however, based on the operational needs of this early-stage company, some work outside of typical business hours and during weekends will be required.
