    Position Overview

    Maricopa County is seeking PC/LAN Technicians to support a large-scale Desktop Refresh Program for the Judicial Branch. This role involves deploying and replacing desktop/laptop systems, providing onsite technical support, and ensuring smooth rollout of IT equipment across multiple facilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deploy and configure desktop and laptop computers

    Perform system imaging, workstation setup, and hardware replacement

    Install peripherals including monitors, docking stations, and printers

    Provide onsite technical support to end users during deployment activities

    Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues

    Track inventory and update ticketing and asset management systems

    Follow deployment schedules and ensure timely rollout completion

    Maintain accurate documentation of completed work

    Travel to various Judicial Branch locations within Maricopa County

    Required Skills & Experience

    Minimum 3+ years of experience in:

    Desktop support

    Computer deployment

    Technical support or related IT field

    Experience deploying and configuring Windows desktop and laptop systems

    Basic knowledge of imaging and deployment processes

    Experience setting up peripherals and workstation components

    Strong customer service and communication skills

    Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Ability to lift and move computer equipment

    Reliable transportation for travel within the county

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in large-scale PC refresh or deployment projects

    Experience with tools such as:

    SCCM, MDT, Intune, Autopilot

    Experience in enterprise, government, or public sector environments

    Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking troubleshooting

    Experience with asset tracking and inventory systems
