Desktop Support Specialist – 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (Start ASAP)
Pay: $20–25/hr | Conversion: $45–65k
A growing team is seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end users. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who has strong customer service skills and a solid technical foundation.
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, phones, and printers
Configure, deploy, and maintain hardware
Respond to tickets, calls, emails, and in-person requests
Assist with asset tracking and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
IT degree (Associate’s acceptable)
1 year of IT support experience
Strong customer service background — candidates from service-oriented roles (food service, coaching, caddying, etc.) are encouraged to apply
Steady work history (not high-turnover or short-term contracts)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and professionalism
