    Desktop Support Technician Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner

    • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software systems.

    • Complete remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

    • Discover the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

    • Collaborate with IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.

    • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and procedures by providing detailed information on IT requests

    • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

    • Follow-up and update customer status and information

    • Deliver training and support to end-users on technology-related topics

    • Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures

    IT Help Desk Technician Requirements

    • 2-4 years experience as a Desktop Support Technician

    • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Impeccable attention to detail

    • Organized and Task Oriented

    • Ability to diagnose and solve basic technical issues

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

    • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
