Detailer - Architectural Metals

St. Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $34 - $42/hr

Konik is partnering with a local a well-established architectural metal fabricator.  They are a detail-oriented team specializing in architectural and miscellaneous metalwork for commercial construction projects. This is an in-person role focused on creating detailed fabrication and installation drawings for stairs, railings, and light structural elements. 

Detailer - Architectural Metals Responsibilities:

• Detail stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal components (not structural steel or mass production weldments) in AutoCAD
• Prepare shop and field drawings from architectural and structural documents
• Visit job sites for field measurements and site condition assessments
• Collaborate with field crews and shop fabricators to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain organized drawing files and job documentation

Detailer - Architectural Metals Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial/architectural construction detailing (miscellaneous metals)
• Strong knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
• Design-build experience preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D detailing)
• Adobe PDF conversion and Windows 10 skills
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
• 3D modeling experience is a plus, but not required
