You will be responsible for and directly manage the production team, own the supply chain process, maintain strong quality control, oversee equipment maintenance, and work closely with the procurement & logistic team while continuously looking to improve processes. Responsibilities: • Own & Manage Production Schedule - working closely with the Sales Team to maintain a 100% on-time shipment record • Manage Production Team - setting employee schedules, creating structure around daily roles & responsibilities, ensuring maximum efficiency • Communicate production updates with Product Development/Strategy team to ensure constant communication and updates are available for end-customer updates • Prepare and control the department budget • Own & Manage safety, housekeeping, quality control, and spearhead certification programs such as ISO • Implement 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing concepts and drive initiatives geared toward operational excellence • Oversee supply chain management from sourcing through distribution using inventory management, procurement, and planning with R&D and Industrial scale up efforts • Coordinate Inventory Levels, Safety Stock, and Replenishment levels of all materials to restock when needed • Ensure warehousing staff sort, label, store, and reconcile materials with appropriate part numbers and in the correct locations • Coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory counting activities • Participate in setting daily goals and priorities for production. Record production activities and analyze data to implement efficiency improvements • Oversee & be actively involved in production for automated bottling operations, boxing operations, or material batching/compounding and filtering operations ensuring production quantities, all safety guidelines, and PPE are met • Attend and provide feedback during production, and new product meetings; discussing availability and potential supply concerns • Work with lab on upkeep of individual SDS products and master lists • Create, update, and maintain SOPs for bottling operation, warehouse, and distribution SOPs • Perform Quality Assurance of all production batches • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Chemical Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred • You have at least 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, chemical manufacturing preferred • You have a proven significant operational improvement track record and have grown operational efficiency by at least 50% • You are self-motivated and ambitious to build something, and adaptable to perform well when given the ability to set your own schedule and goals • Love working on a team and can demonstrate working well with others in a manufacturing environment • Detail-oriented individual who is not afraid to jump into the thick of the specifics of the operation but can handle large volumes of moving parts and pieces of an ever-moving chemical manufacturing operation • You are familiar with Lean concepts, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc. • You are willing to participate in continuous learning and training • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides), MRP, ERP, and Quickbooks Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 yearly
