Job Description

Motion Industries is looking for an experienced Electrical/Automation Specialist with the knowledge and skills to

provide customer needs for Factory Automation, AC & DC Drives, PLCs, Low Voltage Controls, Sensors, Industrial

Control Panels, etc. This role will also work with other principal specialist and internal service centers to deliver high

quality turnkey products for customers. Motion Industries offers an excellent benefits package that includes options

Responsibilities

• Grow core electrical product business at end user and OEM accounts
• Work with other Specialists and value-add service centers for turn-key applications for customers
• Ensure customer relationships are positive and deep within all accounts
• Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to new and existing customers as well as sales teams
• Prospect for new customers
• Ensure customer service requirements are met
• Will be required to be on-call nights and weekends
• Generate new business with new and existing customers
• Ensure technical requirements for the customer are met
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting
• Maintain appropriate relationships with key suppliers

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in AC & DC Drives, Servo Controls and PLC’s
• Knowledge in reading and drawing electrical schematics
• Knowledge of general industrial fieldbus communications
• Knowledge of industrial products
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
• Industry and sales experienced
• Work experience in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage time well
• Knowledge of supply chain systems
• High School Diploma or GED
