      Dev Technology Group is hiring a Business Operations Analyst to support this team with an enthusiasm for detail-oriented client and team support. The successful candidate will enjoy supporting the operational needs of a software development team, be comfortable with financial management, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and bring to the position flexibility, an ability to work within a team, and a desire to achieve accurate results. This role will also include people care management, meeting with your direct reports to set their career goals and support them in accomplishing them. This may be your first time in that role, and an opportunity for your growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in coordination with other team members and other intersecting teams, and ready to dive in with any tasks needed to complete the work.

      WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

      • Work with the Accounting department and Operational divisions, to use and improve procedures and tools for effective financial management reporting for the project, including outlooks and budgets
      • Assist in Burn Rate Reporting/Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
      • Support the team in providing informative financial data in an effective format as well as in the use of Unanet
      • Review the project invoicing for accuracy
      • Review and approve subcontractor timecards and invoicing, work with subcontractors on financial and reporting needs
      • Support in all aspects of contract administration, to include review of contract funding modifications, tracking backlog and funding levels, ensure accurate reporting of contract related items
      • Project administrative tasks, such as timesheet review, facilities coordination and logistics, new team member onboarding and outprocessing, asset management, training requirement oversight
      • Support the project leadership team with team and stakeholder communication
      • Provide people care support to a set of team members

      • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience
      • Demonstrates attention to detail, high degree of maturity and professionalism, logical thinking; excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to support and interface with all levels of management
      • Significant Microsoft Excel expertise
      • Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
      • Desire to work with a team in a wide variety of capacities to sure team success
      • Demonstrated ability managing and communicating financial information, and ability to help make financial and operational decisions
      • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
      • Excellent diplomacy and communication skills with both clients and technical staff
      • Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
      • Ability and desire to work independently, provide ideas for process improvement
      • Ability and desire to help guide others in their career development needs
      • Ability to obtain the required government security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
      • Experience working with federal government clients
      • Experience developing Basis of Estimates
      • Experience with accounting and finance systems for Government contracting (e.g. Unanet, GCS Premier), or similar experiences
