Job Summary:
Devaney Energy (Newton, MA) is seeking an Equipment Sales Specialist. The successful candidate must be motivated and have excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills. This position offers the right person significant earning potential. We are a fast-growing, family-owned and operated full service energy company with over 85 years of delivering the highest level of service to our heating oil and propane customers. Responsibilities and Requirements
● Handle sales inquiries for heating and cooling equipment
● Create and manage outbound communication (emails, phone calls, mailings) to follow up on proposals.
Communicate with the Installation Manager to ensure a smooth installation process for the customer.
Required Skills & Personal Attributes:
● Strong sales, negotiating and closing skills
● Superior communication skills
● Enjoy working with customers
● Must have the ability to multitask
● Take initiative to achieve goals and complete task
● Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized
● Existing knowledge on heating/cooling equipment a plus
