Inside Sales Specialist
Job Summary:
Devaney Energy (Newton, MA) is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to add and retain residential heating oil customers. The successful candidate must be motivated and have excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills. This position offers the right person significant earning potential. We are a fast-growing, family-owned and operated full service energy company with over 85 years of delivering the highest level of service to our heating oil and propane customers. Responsibilities and Requirements
● Handle inbound sales inquiries from prospective residential heating oil customers
● Create and manage outbound communication (emails, phone calls, mailings) to acquire new customers
● Use CRM software to properly record and manage leads
● Database and List Management
● Perform market research to identify areas of growth
Required Skills & Personal Attributes:
● Strong sales, negotiating and closing skills
● Superior communication skills
● Enjoy working with customers
● Must have the ability to multitask
● Take initiative to achieve goals and complete tasks
● Ability to prospect and dig for business
● Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized
● Experience with Excel, Outlook, Word and CRMs is best
