Who We’re Looking For If you need every day to go according to plan, this probably isn’t the job for you. If you love animals and people, thrive on change, take initiative, and like figuring out what needs to happen next, you might be exactly who we’re looking for. At Paws Crossed, no two days are alike. You’ll have a to-do list, but you may only get through two things on it because something else needs your attention. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, juggling priorities, asking questions, sharing your ideas, and rolling up your sleeves to do whatever needs to be done, from high-level projects to loading a van or carrying tables up a flight of stairs. We’re a close-knit team that has worked together for many years, and we value people who can step into that environment with curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to be part of the team. It can be busy, messy, unpredictable, and sometimes exhausting. But if you’re the kind of person who can look back at the end of a chaotic day and think, “We helped someone today, we saved a life, we made a difference” you’ll understand why we love what we do.
