About the Role:

Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc. as a Development I Associate, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to alleviate hunger and provide essential services to our community. This position is perfect for a passionate individual eager to make a difference in the lives of those in need while growing their skills in fundraising and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns.

Support donor relations by maintaining accurate records and communication.

Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.

Help organize and coordinate community outreach events and initiatives.

Prepare reports and presentations to share fundraising progress with stakeholders.

Collaborate with team members to create engaging marketing materials.

Monitor and analyze fundraising trends to recommend improvements.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field preferred.

1–2 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, or administrative support.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Passion for community service and commitment to our mission.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
