    Overview

    Devis is currently seeking a Refugee Operations Analyst to join one of our Department of State programs in Arlington (Rosslyn), VA.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in Refugee Case Processing.
    • Highly familiar with refugee administration including associated statistical methods, congressional inquiries and help desk procedures.

    Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with supervisors to obtain data required for planning refugee operations activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. Assigns or delegates responsibility for specified work or functional activities and disseminates policy.
    • Leads training sessions and participates in training activities both within and outside the Refugee Processing Center
    • Coordinates Refugee Operations activities with Production Support Team, User Acceptance Testing, systems design and prototype reviews to provide the user perspective in system development and troubleshooting defects.
    • Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel, including the review of work products for correctness, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
    • Makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations. Prepare milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
    • Meets deadlines and ensures products match customer requirements
    • Produces relevant reports and facilitate communication with stakeholders
    • Prepares for weekly allocations meetings and oversee communication with Resettlement Agencies
    • Reviews and provides various weekly reports to our domestic and overseas partners
    • Provides status updates regarding cases to partners as needed
    • Reviews and researches related Help Desk tickets and Software Change Requests (SWCRs) as designated by Processing Team managers
    • Participates in SOP and Processing Guide review on a quarterly basis to support releases and/or a quarterly basis for standard process support
    • Participates in a collaborative environment, a willingness to learn and an ability to adapt to change quickly are essential to the position
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Education / Certifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant or related field

    Clearance Requirements

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance
