  • Responsibilities

    InSite Property Group, an entity of GSA Management LLC, is a leading self-storage developer, focusing on high-barrier-to-entry markets across the United States. We are seeking a Development Intern to assist our development team at GSA Management LLC.

    Objective:

    The Development Intern will assist with project tracking, documentation, and coordination throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about real estate development and construction processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Tracks construction progress, timelines, and budgets across active projects
    • Supports draw request and change order review and documentation
    • Coordinates with general contractors, architects, and consultants
    • Monitors permitting and entitlement timelines
    • Maintains project files, status reports, and documentation
    • Assists with due diligence on new development opportunities
    • Conducts site visit documentation
    • Supports cost comparisons and vendor bid collection

    Other Functions:

    • Must be willing to travel to project sites as necessary
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skill and Experience:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar) a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential

    Pay Range:

    • $35 - $40/hour

    Date Range:

    • Around June 1, 2026 through summer break
