The Joy Culture Foundation Development Manager

The Joy Culture Foundation (TJCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Chinese-speaking families in the San Francisco Bay Area through youth leadership programs, cultural education, and community events. We believe that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and TJCF aims to be that village for families in our community.

We are seeking a part-time Development Manager (10-20 hours/week) to help grow TJCF’s fundraising efforts, strengthen donor relationships, and build partnerships with local businesses and community sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

Support TJCF’s fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategy

Manage donor communications and stewardship efforts

Assist with donor outreach and relationship building

Help develop and manage business sponsorship partnerships with local companies and community organizations

Support fundraising campaigns and donor programs (such as the Visionary Donor Circle)

Assist with grant research and applications

Help coordinate fundraising events and community engagement activities

Qualifications

Passion for community impact and nonprofit work

Experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorships, or nonprofit development preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Highly organized and able to work independently

Experience working with Asian American or bilingual communities is a plus

Mandarin language ability is a plus

Remote (but has to live in SF Bay Area)
