    Hybrid-remote | Portland, Oregon

    Friends of the Children – Portland (FriendsPDX) is seeking a highly organized event coordinator and operations partner to plan and deliver fundraising events, drives, and campaigns that fuel our mission. This full-time role owns event logistics and production while supporting donor stewardship and development department operations.

    Bring your strengths in:

    • Coordinating events from concept to completion (permitting, vendor management, set-up, run-of-show, post-event wrap-up)
    • Working with the volunteer manager to engage community partners and volunteers
    • Overseeing in-kind donations, procurement, and inventory tracking
    • Communicating clearly with colleagues, vendors, and donors
    • Managing budgets, timelines, and project plans
    • Using event and fundraising software (Greater Giving, Cvent, Raiser’s Edge) or similar tools
    • Applying strong organizational skills and attention to provide general administrative and logistical support to the Development team

    Role details

    • Hybrid-remote; requires in-office work at our Portland, OR office
    • Salary: $58,933.00-$62,522.01 depending on qualifications
    • Requires 3-5 years' experience in events management and department administrative experience
