Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field from an Early Intervention approved college/ university program
Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Credential or actively in the process of obtaining (we can assist)
Experience working with children from birth to 3 years old, especially those with developmental delays
Strong understanding of developmental milestones and early childhood development
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized developmental therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3) in their natural environments (home or daycare)
Conduct initial evaluations/assessments, six-month reviews, and discharge summaries in compliance with Early Intervention requirements
Collaborate with families to develop and implement home education programs that support child development
Follow and implement goals outlined in each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
Design and adapt curriculum-based activities tailored to each child's developmental goals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with agency policies and all applicable State and Federal regulations
Communicate regularly with the child’s Early Intervention team, including service coordinators and other therapists, to support a collaborative approach to care
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual – Spanish-speaking highly desirable
Familiarity with Early Intervention practices
