    Position Description

    The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives and achieve outcomes by proactively focusing on the people side of change to maximize employee adoption and usage. Change initiatives may include but are not limited to changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. A primary responsibility of this role is to create and implement change management strategies and plans that address the unique needs of the organization and impacted individuals. The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization, and greater proficiency of the changes.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Consult with organizations on the importance of managing the people side of change.
    • Identify opportunities to add value and increase success by incorporating change management best practices.
    • Leverage the Prosci change management framework to properly scale and lead change management initiatives.
    • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that consider various levers such as communications, sponsorship, coaching, training and resistance management.
    • Instruct, coach and support executive leaders and supervisors on change management and the importance of their roles in making changes successful.
    • Facilitate diverse groups to complete change management assessments and develop recommendations based on the results.
    • Identify and mitigate anticipated resistance.
    • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans.
    • Define and measure success metrics.
    • Monitor change progress and change management effectiveness.
    • Implement course corrections to drive continuous improvement.
    • Consult and coach project teams and individuals on driving successful change.

    Skills and qualifications

    • Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification required
    • Experience leading large scale organizational change efforts
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent active listening skills
    • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
    • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
