    What You'll Do:

    Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of Company policy

    Assist with the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and financial results of the department

    Assist to manage staff in a manner consistent with Di Bruno Bros.’ Servant Leadership Philosophy

    Assist to establish performance goals, allocate resources and assess policies for department Associates

    Assist to conduct employment interviews, performance appraisals and administer rewards and discipline as necessary

    Assist to coach and motivate Associates to foster ongoing development and help them reach their potential

    Ensure compliance of Associates with established policies, procedures and practices

    Assist to monitor department budget and payroll including COG, labor and expenses, taking action when necessary to meet all sales and profitability goals

    Oversee quality standards; assist in conducting continuous inspections and testing of all products to ensure that Company standards are met

    Assist to ensure that all federal, state, local and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, sanitation and weights and measures are met

    Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements

    Maintain the highest level of standards in product display and preparation

    Sell and serve Bottle Shop items

    Initiate suggestive selling and sampling of products

    Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise

    Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock

    Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices

    Communicate any customer special requests to management

    Communicates with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service

    About You:

    1+ years of equivalent experience and training

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

    Ability to think critically

    Retail experience strongly preferred

    Knowledge of produce and nonperishables products preferred

    Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store

    Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
