    What You'll Do:

    Maintain responsibility for the operation and financial results of the assigned Di Bruno Bros. store, reporting to the Store Team Lead

    Supervise all store Associates engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operations records and preparing daily record of transactions

    Follow through on customer questions and requests, resolving issues as needed.

    Function as Manager on Duty in the absence of Team Lead or Assistant Team Lead

    Monitor store budget and payroll including sales, COG, labor and expenses

    Take corrective action as necessary to meet sales and profitability objections

    Ensure compliance of Associates with established retail policies and procedures, security, sales and record-keeping procedures and practices

    Create associate schedules to ensure high efficiency, labor within budget and an excellent customer experience

    Schedule and oversee proper equipment operation and maintenance

    Ensure that all federal, state, local and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, sanitation and weights and measures are met

    Coordinate sales promotion activities and prepare merchandise displays

    Assists with merchandising and display of products

    Maintains awareness of customer flows/needs and directs Team Members as necessary to satisfy customers; responds promptly to customer needs and questions

    Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover

    Follows and complies with health and sanitation, and safe work practices, ensuring maintenance of a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment

    Identify strengths and opportunities, developing realistic solutions to operational problems and communicate with Senior Leadership team

    Perform periodic inspections of store conditions, taking corrective action when necessary

    Perform various office and accounting functions

    Additional duties and projects as assigned

    About You:

    Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of management experience; at least one year of experience in retail food management.

    High energy, enthusiasm, passion for food and serving others.

    Strong management and communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

    Experience managing a retail unit & interviewing, selecting and training employees

    Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and automated reporting systems including those used for inventory, food cost, scheduling, time & attendance, gross margin and labor

    Ability to learn advanced product knowledge and maintain awareness of new products.

    Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.

    Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.

    Effective time management and organization skills.

    Desire to coach and mentor others for growth.

    Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.  Ability to move or handle product and supplies throughout the store

    Ability to develop teams, delegate effectively and to prioritize when dealing with multiple tasks.

    Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business.
