Di Bruno Bros. is hiring an experienced Cheese Monger or Culinarian to join our team and lead virtual tasting events, as well as assist with Corporate Gifting and customer service duties at our Warehouse location at 2514 Morris Street in South Philadelphia.

This individual must be self-motivated with a strong eye for detail--we're looking for someone with a great stage presence and a willingness to present to large groups of online viewers. What You'll Do:

Host Virtual Events for corporate clients, social clients, virtual retreats, galas, and various online gatherings

Oversee and maintain online virtual events calendar

Speak and interact with both new and returning customers

Answer direct customer questions asked by viewers on the virtual call

Assist with the current virtual events program: Offering pairing suggestions, board building techniques, and alcohol recommendations to clients

Utilize culinary knife skills and follow all safety standards for equipment

Assist with periodic inventory checks (if applicable)

Follow health and safety guidelines

Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance

Contribute to a positive team environment

General Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of food service and food preparation experience required

Extensive knowledge of cheese and ability to discuss origins, making, and aging of cheese

Very comfortable with public speaking and interacting with clients using cheese and cheese pairing expertise

Culinary knife skills and experience using a slicer, and other culinary equipment, preferred

Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business

Ability to utilize Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other virtual conference call platforms

A willingness to learn about our brand and our product offerings

Ability to utilize and Manage Google Calendar and other scheduling platforms

Can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy department

Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation

Can move, carry or handle merchandise accordingly
