SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANGER

We are currently seeking a Software Engineering Manager with 5 years of experience developing software and at least two years of experience managing a development organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or related field; or equivalent experience. This position is responsible for managing and directing software engineers and developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Manages product design from design to execution.
• Builds, develops, and manages engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives.
• Manages the implementation of software in accordance with customer requirements and design constraints.
• Implements technical innovations to improve team processes and code development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
• Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
• Travel is required.
