Customer Service & Procurement - Clinical Laboratory Supply
Job Description
DiaMed Caribbean is a medical diagnostic distribution company located in Miami Lakes, Florida. We are currently looking for a full-time Procurement and customer service agent to support our technical and customer service staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be proficient in computers, including a basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite and experience with Intuit QuickBooks
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish/English (bilingual required)
· Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
· Prior experience and familiarity with the clinical laboratory products business is preferred
· Minimum High School diploma required
· Must reside in North Dade -South Broward County area
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive, process, and place customer orders as required.
. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
· Order and manage in-house inventory of products, as required by clients.
· Communicates with vendors, freight handlers and warehouse staff on a daily basis to maintain shipping schedules and provide order information as needed.
· Maintains records of customer interactions and transactions, technical staff office records, technical sales/data files and company related information.
· Establishes, develops, and maintains relationships with customers and manufacturers, corresponding and developing constructive working relationships over time.
· Answer telephones and respond to email correspondence as needed
· Contributes to team effort by maintaining communication with logistics, warehouse, CSR members and upper management.
