    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics (OB) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on expectant mothers to assess fetal health and development. This role requires a strong understanding of obstetric ultrasound techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct obstetric ultrasound examinations to assess fetal anatomy, growth, and well-being.
    - Utilize ultrasound equipment and technology to produce and analyze images for diagnostic purposes.
    - Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the ultrasound process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
    - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all ultrasound scans and patient information.
    - Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
    - Adhere to safety standards and best practices in imaging to ensure patient and staff safety.
    - Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and obstetric practices through ongoing education and training.
    - Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance programs, and professional development activities.

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
    - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential, with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
    - Minimum [X] years of experience as a sonographer, with a focus on obstetric ultrasound preferred.
    - Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy and physiology, as well as prenatal care practices.
    - Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and image interpretation software.

    Physical Requirements:
