    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Women's Health to join our excellent team of sonographers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations in a Women's Health environment to include the female pelvis, 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester OB. This role requires a strong understanding of ultrasound techniques, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct obstetric ultrasound examinations to assess fetal anatomy, growth, and well-being, as well as the non-gravid female pelvis.

    - Utilize ultrasound equipment and technology to produce and analyze images for diagnostic purposes.
    - Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the ultrasound process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
    - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all ultrasound scans and patient information.
    - Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
    - Adhere to safety standards and best practices in imaging to ensure patient and staff safety.
    - Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and obstetric practices through ongoing education and training.
    - Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance programs, and professional development activities.

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
    - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential, with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
    - Minimum 1 years of experience as a sonographer, with a focus on obstetric ultrasound preferred.
    - Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy and physiology, as well as prenatal care practices.
    - Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and image interpretation software.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to stand for extended periods, assist patients in and out of examination rooms, and lift equipment as necessary.
    - May encounter exposure to bodily fluids and need for proper infection control measures.
