  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Direct and manage all aspects of the Customer Service Department activities, policies, objectives and initiatives.

    • Develop and implement procedures and new systems to improve worldwide customer relations and guarantee complete customer satisfaction.

    • Responsible for managing global pricing contracts and tier pricing programs to comply with the Company’s financial goals and objectives.

    • Analyze quarterly sales on key accounts to determine financial impact and drop through to bottom line.

    • Manage and implement Distributor Line simplification program. Conduct on-going AA/BB analyses on distributor sales to guarantee they meet established targets.

    • Work with Product Management on Distributor Sales and Zip Code reports.

    • Interact with Executive and Regional Sales Managers on worldwide pricing programs, manufacturing and customer service issues.

    • In conjunction with Manufacturing, prioritize production schedules on high demand and backorder issues.

    • Obtain forecast information from customers; work directly with manufacturing on product line forecasting including off-site warehouse stocking orders.

    • Supervise Customer Service Representatives and cross train on customer specific pricing programs, product launches, international shipping regulations, so all customer issues worldwide are addressed in a concise and timely manner.

    • Communicate with suppliers, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service regarding issues that affect the supply chain and service levels, both internal and external.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BS degree preferred or equivalent training/experience and a minimum of ten (10) plus years in the customer service field.

    • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

    • Strong managerial skills to oversee and motivate staff.

    • Strong computer skills on spreadsheet programs.

    • Must be able to work well under pressure and delegate responsibility.
