    Job Description- Human Resources Internship

    Diamond Assets is currently seeking a HR Intern to add to our growing team in 2023! The HR Intern must be able to stay organized and work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. This position reports to the Chief HR Officer. Working hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation of new employee onboarding and coordinating onboarding schedules.
    • Assist with recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing phone screens, scheduling interviews, performing reference checks and issuing employment offer letters
    • Responsible for maintaining the employee time clock and making sure time is accurate.
    • Assist all employee meetings.
    • Support Human Resources Director on various projects, initiatives and events throughout the course of the internship.
    • Assist with data entry into various HR and Recruitment related systems and tracking tools
    • May assist with various compliance initiatives including poster updates, job description audits and other general projects that may provide an opportunity to grow meaningful experience in the HR field.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Key Skills & Qualifications

    • Current student (Junior, Senior) majoring in Human Resources or related field.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives with excellent project planning and execution skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills including excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Requirements
    • 3.5 GPA or higher Physical Requirements
    • Ability to use computers daily in an interactive manner for extended periods of time and up to 8 hours per day.
    • Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone or by email.
