    JOB TITLE:  Systems Administrator

    PURPOSE: The role of Systems Administrator at Diamond Assets is to implement and support effective, efficient, and secure use of technologies with high quality support to all members of the organization.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Technical College degree in computer, systems administration, network, end-user device related field or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in same preferred

    • Work experience and/or certifications appropriate to Diamond Assets systems

    • Experience/knowledge of networking (WAN/LAN/wired/wireless)

    • Experience managing Windows servers and backup functions

    • Experience managing email/collaborative systems (Google and/or Microsoft)

    • Experience in/knowledge of virtual server environments

    • Ability to manage complex projects working in a team and/or as a leader of projects

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly as a project manager and team member

    • Strong project management/coordinating skills

    • Excellent trouble-shooting analysis and problem solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Excellent customer service skills

    SUPPORTING QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years supporting Windows Server and end-user administration required

    • 2+ years supporting macOS and iOS systems in education or business setting preferred

    • Proficiency with windows server applications and management (Active Directory)

    • Proficiency with managing systems such as security camera and building security

    • Demonstrated understanding of end-user needs in systems and network design

    • Demonstrated understanding of network design, architecture, configuration and installation (switches, routers, firewalls), TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, 802.1x, and VPN

    •Demonstrated understanding of Windows and macOS/iOS environments

    • Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards (NIST, NATE, etc.); data destruction solutions

    • Experience in system administration, monitoring, and maintenance of windows server and related applications

    • Experience with workstation, server and mobile deployments (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)

    • Experience/knowledge with/of mobile device management deployments

    • Email and web server administration and security management (Hosted MS Exchange, Google, web database installations)

    • Understanding and experience in backup of servers, databases, and end-user equipment in either hardware or cloud solutions

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Install, maintain, and monitor Windows servers in virtual configuration

    • Administer local and wide area network in conjunction with contracted systems engineer

    • Configure, manage, and maintain door security, fire, and camera security systems

    • Manage Jamf Pro MDM for deployment of employee end-user devices

    • Manage PaperCut printer management solution utilizing networked printers and copier/printers to reduce cost and support end-user needs

    • Manage/maintain server efficiency and security and backups

    • Create and maintain network user accounts and security

    • Integrate Active Directory user information with appropriate databases and systems as a ‘single sign-on' type environment where appropriate

    • Manage the Google Enterprise environment ensuring security of accounts, data, and access

    • Daily monitoring of all server and other systems (security, email, etc.) pre-empting problems/issues

    • Design, implementation and management of backup solutions in enterprise environment

    • Daily monitoring of network (wired and wireless) for security and end-user functionality

    • VOIP Mitel phone system oversight and monitoring

    • Work collectively with Filemaker Developer and production floor technician ensuring seamless solutions for Diamond Assets' business functions.

    • Work collectively with technical team, web services team, financial team, human resources team, etc. ensuring account and password security is documented and appropriate

    • Manage upgrades and conversions as Diamond Assets needs grow and change

    • Perform other duties as assigned
