JUNIOR UNITY DEVELOPER - CHATSWORTH, CA

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Junior Unity Developer in our Chatsworth office. This is a contract to hire position. Candidate will be part of a team developing the next generation of slot games for various lottery and alternative gaming markets. We're looking for developers who have a passion for creating games, learning on the job and working with many different technologies. Diamond Game designs, produces, and services games, gaming systems, and tickets for various North American Lotteries and alternative gaming markets. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement new games for various markets
• Port games to Unity from existing non-Unity platforms
• Prototype new features
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Follow best practices
• Follow best practices
• Perform other tasks and duties as needed and/or requested by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be team oriented and have a positive attitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent technical experience required
• Strong Unity skills, with 1-2 years of experience
• Strong object-oriented programming with C#
• Experience with sockets/network programming
• Experience writing automated unit tests
• Desired to have shipped Windows and iOS Unity games
• A background in casino gaming is a plus
• Visual C++ programming is a plus
