JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Member Services staff person to join our Team. You must be a service orientated, positive, enthusiastic, multitasker with a love for health and fitness. At least 1-2 years customer service experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is confident, motivated, and able to respond directly to members in a friendly, personable, and professional manner while resolving high priority member needs. Must have a flexible work schedule to be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Greet, check in, and attend to members in a friendly and professional manner.
Attentively and promptly respond to member needs.
Answer multiple phone lines and directing calls to the appropriate department.
Assist members in registering for events and providing information on all club activities.
Tracking membership inquiries.
Control of Court reservations for Tennis, Pickleball and Department reservations.
Check-in members and appropriately respond to messages regarding their membership account.
Enter sales transactions for members, including program, service and product payments.
Process paperwork; address change, upgrade/downgrade, credit card changes and processing payments.
Provide a clean and organized reception area.
Support and enforce all club rules and regulations as a staff team member.
Attend and participate in scheduled department meetings and Annual All Staff Meeting.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a positive and enthusiastic service attitude
1-2 year Customer Service experience
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work independently
Open availability a plus
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
