Job Description

This role involves the safe and responsible operation of assigned machinery, while maintaining accurate and detailed daily production records. The ideal candidate will work effectively with co-workers across the facility, and report any maintenance and repair issues to the Operations Manager. They must also adhere to all quality, housekeeping, and employee safety practices. A good understanding of various manufacturing processes, including GMP, is required for this position.

Job Function: Assist in the production of all items manufactured at the facility.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Salary: $17.50-$20.00/hour

Performance Criteria:

• Accurate completion of daily reports
• Strict adherence to company safety procedures, GMPs, and other policies
• Initiative to identify and complete necessary tasks
• Establish positive relationships with all team members

Authority: Stop production for personal safety and/or quality reasons

Shifts run from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required

Responsibilities:

• Assist with facility cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain cleanliness

• Regularly lift and carry 50 pounds or more

• Bend, twist, reach, climb, kneel, etc. as required

• Complete necessary paperwork

• Wear and maintain all assigned PPE

• Follow established Quality and Safety procedures

• Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial manufacturing

• Experience in packaging, using pallet jacks, ladders, and hand tools

• Ability to work in temperature extremes (very cold to very warm)

• Understanding of Quality and Safety procedures, GMPs, and employee safety programs

• Basic math, written, and verbal communication skills
