    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping experience to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the permit process for construction projects, provide support to our project managers, ensure they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best, keep files updated and maintained, and perform light bookkeeping duties.

    Responsibilities

    Complete online applications for permits

    Contact Government entities for permit and development fee costs

    Enter financial data and transactions into QuickBooks

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered in QuickBooks

    Organize meetings and take accurate minutes

    Write emails, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately

    Maintain an organized filing system

    Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred

    Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position

    Ability to learn new software programs to assist with the permit processing

    Knowledge of Quickbooks desktop or online version

    Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
