JAVA ARCHITECT
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Will be responsible for Architecting, designing, developing, implementing Java based components and interfaces in a fast-paced agile environment.
o Will be responsible for security architecture and implementation from end to end.
o Supports the entire software development life cycle including support and maintenance.
o Responsible for code asset management for applications, and support and promoting asset reuse.
o Work with product team and other technical team members in developing robust technical solution. * Lead and mentor senior java engineers
o Performs unit/integrated completed system testing according to detailed functional specification.
o Supports the implementation of systems into production.
o Assists team members performing system maintenance, and support tasks.
o Fix/update the existing code if required which should be well designed, testable, efficient code
o Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
o Ensure SLAs are adhered to resolve issues in timely manner.
o Utilizes accepted methodologies and tools in a disciplined manner.
o Works independently and efficiently to meet timelines.
Experience: 13 to 15 Years
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Java/j2EE, Kubernetes, docker, Tomcat, Kafka/Confluent. Spring, Spring Boot, RESTFul Web Services, Microservice
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum 12-15 years of experience working in IT industry developing solutions in J2EE technologies and at least 4 years' experience as an architect in architecting and designing J2EE applications/APIs.
SKILLS/TOOLS:
o Experience in Kubernetes, docker, Tomcat, Kafka/Confluent.
o Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, RESTFul Web Services, Microservice Architecture, Docker/Kubernetes/Containers, JDBC
o Understanding of AJAX/JavaScript, NodeJsHTML5, CSS
o Solid Knowledge of SQL development and performance tuning.
o Experience in agile development
o Experience in using JIRA, Rally and any other agile and software development tools such as Jenkins and Git. Thorough familiarity with source control tools like github.
o Experience in developing APIs for mobile applications is a plus.
o Working experience in HealthCare industry is highly desirable.
o Thorough understanding of OOADD.
o Experience in designing APIs and applications with robust security especially in mobile apps space.
o Demonstrated the ability to architect, design, plan and execute.
o Ability to lead and mentor senior java engineers
