    We are seeking a talented and dynamic Customer Support Specialist to join our Customer Service Team. This role is critical to our Operations and directly supports our customers success.  This role is ideal for someone that thrives working in a small team environment and is looking for a job opportunity that provides support, flexibility, and stability.

    WHAT DOES A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST LOOK LIKE?

    This position plays a critical role in our Customer Service experience.  Most of your time will be spent interacting with our diverse customer base and helping them with their business needs.  This includes:

    • Assisting our customers with sourcing Swagelok products by processing quotes, orders, & returns in our SAP business system. This is done over the phone, via email, and in person.
    • Handling customer requests for technical product information with the support of Swagelok's technical resources. 
    • Working with our sales team to support individual customer needs.

    WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

    This role is perfect for someone that is strongly self-motivated and has a desire to make a difference for their customers.

    • Strong communication skills including active listening. This will help to best serve our internal & external customers.
    • Desire to develop technical proficiency to ensure you can complete customer requests and offer alternative options or complementary products.

    • Willingness to work in a small office environment and assist in other areas of the business when needed to include warehouse functions (shipping and receiving product)

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of Customer Service or Inside Sales experience
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP experience a plus
    • Strong Mechanical Aptitude a plus
