This full-time hourly role is a part of our Tool and Die Team and reports to the Tooling Manager. This position will allow the candidate to grow within a stable environment that’s building a better foundation for every vehicle on the road.

This role qualifies for our yearly tool allowance of $400/yr

$36.00 per hour
2nd shift - 2PM-10PM - $1.50/hr shift premium
OT as required
$2.00/per hour more if Journeyman Card has been obtained

**Responsibilities: **

• Perform extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms, and engineering changes on all types of dies.

• Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machine, blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machine parts to specifications.

• Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.

• Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and make repairs.

** Required Experience **

• Journeyman Card preferred

• 2 to 5 years' experience

• Troubleshooting skills

• Metal stamping and manufacturing experience preferred
