    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy diesel equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
    • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
    • Replace or repair defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, particularly with heavy equipment.
    • Strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

    • Construction Equipment Maintenance
    • Heavy Equipment Repair
    • Diesel Engine Systems
    • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
    • ASE Automobile and Light Truck Certification Tests
    • Lift Truck Repair & Maintenance
    • High School / GED
