    We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to help maintain and repair a hardworking fleet  and equipment that powers sustainability every day. Whether you’re under the hood or on a service call, your work ensures our mission never slows down.

    Pay up to $45/ hourly based  on experience

    2nd Shift

    MON- FRI

    What You’ll Do
    • Troubleshoot  and diagnose mechanical failures involving hydraulics, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines
    • Carry out routine and complex repairs on compactors, balers, recycling equipment, and light duty trucks
    • Replace damaged or worn components such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings
    • Rebuild and install blowers, generators, starters, pumps, and distributors
    • Perform repairs related to hydraulic equipment
    • Review condition reports and work orders to understand repair needs
    • Collaborate with supervisors and operators to verify issues and suggest preventative practices
    • Track repair activities, parts used, and labor times
    • Maintain compliance with safety rules and OSHA standards
    • Support a collaborative and professional work environment
    • Complete other maintenance duties as needed

     

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related maintenance experience, or 4 years of related experience without a diploma.

    • Valid driver license.

    • Ability to handle tools, climb and work at heights above 4 feet, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
