We are seeking a motivated Level C Diesel Technician to join the fleet maintenance team of our leading Waste Collection and Recycling client in Worcester, MA. This entry-level role is designed for technicians with foundational diesel knowledge who are eager to grow their skills and advance in the trade.

Shift Options

• 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM

• 10:00 AM – 6:50 PM

Must Haves

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluids, filters, lubrication, tires)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in shop/yard conditions

• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures

• Valid driver’s license

Good to Haves

• 6–12 months experience in fleet, automotive, or diesel shop

• Technical school coursework or diesel/automotive certification

• Familiarity with basic diagnostic tools

• CDL Class B or ability to obtain within 12 months

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to train into Level B

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Assist with minor repairs (belts, hoses, batteries, brakes, simple electrical)

• Support senior technicians with larger repairs and diagnostics

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records

• Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
