    Diesel Mechanic

    The Diesel Mechanic will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, as well as a strong background in working with propane engines and restoring older vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the mechanical integrity and performance of our fleet and restoration projects.

    Job Duties:

    ** Diesel Mechanic typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:**

    • Diagnose and repair diesel and propane engines, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex issues.
    • Conduct inspections and tests on vehicles to identify mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs.
    • Restore older vehicles, including assessing the condition of parts, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
    • Collaborate with the team to maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and service history for each vehicle.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
    • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a diesel mechanic program or apprenticeship preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of propane engine mechanics.
    • Familiarity with vehicle restoration processes and techniques.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle repair and maintenance.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    Pay Range:

    • $35 - $40/Hour (Overtime eligible, not required)
