Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on company and customer trucks.
Use diagnostic software and mechanical tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, DEF/DPF systems, and emission controls.
Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and DOT standards.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Communicate effectively with service advisors, fleet managers, and customers regarding repairs and estimates.
2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician (Fleet or Dealership setting preferred).
Familiar with Cummins, Detroit, CAT, or International engines.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and repair manuals.
Basic computer and diagnostic tool knowledge.
ASE Certifications (T Series or equivalent) a plus.
DOT Inspection Certification preferred but not required.
Air brake and HVAC certifications a plus.
