  • Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrains.

    • Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on company and customer trucks.

    • Use diagnostic software and mechanical tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.

    • Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, DEF/DPF systems, and emission controls.

    • Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner.

    • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and DOT standards.

    • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

    • Communicate effectively with service advisors, fleet managers, and customers regarding repairs and estimates.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician (Fleet or Dealership setting preferred).

    • Familiar with Cummins, Detroit, CAT, or International engines.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.

    • Ability to read and interpret schematics and repair manuals.

    • Basic computer and diagnostic tool knowledge.

    Preferred Certifications:

    • ASE Certifications (T Series or equivalent) a plus.

    • DOT Inspection Certification preferred but not required.

    • Air brake and HVAC certifications a plus.
