  • Responsibilities

    Diesel Techs must be able to properly diagnose diesel accurately and efficiently, and must have their own tools; diagnostic tools are a plus, but not required. The shop will provide diagnostic equipment. • All pay is negotiable based on experience and certifications. • PTO and Vacation after a year. • 100% Employer-paid healthcare. • Vision, Dental, and Life are available once certain conditions are met. • Possible sign-on bonus. Responsibilities: • Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work • Source and remediate mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's mechanical systems, electrical system, and electronic systems • Diagnosing accurately and in a timely fashion Qualifications: • Associate’s degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus • Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs • A valid driver’s license is necessary • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired • Must have experience with major diesel brands, Cummins, Duramax, and Power Stroke • Reliable transportation and a driver's license are required Compensation: $20 $40 hourly
