What you will do in this role:
As a Dietary Aide , you play an important role in caring for our patients. For most, a meal is more than just food. It’s a moment of comfort and connection during a challenging time. Your kindness and attention help bring smiles and strength, making a real difference every day. You will:

• Serve meals with care and encouragement
• Clear and clean tables , creating a welcoming and comfortable dining space
• Assist with dishwashing and support the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
• Work closely with your team to ensure every patient receives the right meal, on time, with a friendly touch

Qualifications

** Dietary Aide** : Officially, we title this job a Dietary Aide, but in other centers it may be called a Restaurant Server, Kitchen Helper or even a Dishwasher.

** What we need from you** :

• ServSafe Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
• Some prior food service experience – specifically **** in a medical facility or commercial/central kitchen (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of computer-based documentation systems
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to regularly push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical and background check
• Ability to work week day shifts and every other weekend

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
