Their responsibilities encompass meal preparation, dietary monitoring, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to promote the health and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
- Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
- Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Dietary aides must be detail-oriented to ensure that meals are prepared according to specific dietary guidelines.
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with residents and other staff members.
