Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. At FAMC, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and community. Every role—especially within our Dietary department—plays a vital part in supporting patient healing, comfort, and overall experience.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established menus and therapeutic diet guidelines

Coordinate daily food preparation and meal service

Interact with patients to gather meal preferences and support dietary needs

Maintain food safety standards, portion control, and proper sanitation practices

Assist with inventory, supply management, and kitchen organization

Support training and daily workflow of dietary staff

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Food service experience preferred (not required)

Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within one year

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent customer service skills with a patient, courteous approach

Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and quality standards

Schedule & Work Environment:

Weekdays, weekends, and holiday rotations

Fast-paced, hands-on role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
