** Role**

Front Desk Cashiers are the first point of contact for our customers. Greeting all guests with a friendly smile as while introducing them to Dig It. Make sure check-In runs smoothly. Cashiers complete the entry transactions accurately and efficiently while assuring security, safety, and proper cash handling procedures. All cashiers will also be part of our Floor Crew facilitating play-based learning in our construction-themed play space.

Floor Crew are Dig It's PLAY ambassadors. This role involves engaging with young children, creating a positive environment while supervising the play floor, and keeping children safe. We are looking for motivated, creative team players with a willingness to learn and grow with Dig It.

Responsibilities:

• “Welcome” all incoming guests in a friendly manner.
• First impression of our guest. Greeting children with their adults and Informing them of our offerings.
• Operate POS system and payment processing with efficiency and accuracy.
• Follow established cash handling procedures.
• Stay informed of all activities and events.
• Assist with challenging guests and engage a manager when needed.
• Join Floor Crew when needed. Play and engage with children and adults In the space.
• Ensure the safety of all guests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• General upkeep of entrance, exit, and eating areas.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Experience working with children and families
• Customer service and/or entertainment-type experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with visitors, team members, and peers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and engage visitors
• Lead by example to inspire a high level of quality service among the Dig It teams.
• Flexibility with work hours includes daytime, evening, and weekends.
• Multi-lingual is a plus!

Benefit packages offered to full-time employees. Pay is commensurate with experience.
