Position Summary:

Arts Bonita is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Digital Content Creator to produce and manage high-quality multimedia content across digital platforms. This role involves hands-on work in videography, photography, podcast editing, and content distribution for web, social media, and email. The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling and technical skills with the ability to manage digital channels and support website updates. Experience with IT systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Videography & Photography: Capture and edit engaging video and photo content that highlights our events, classes, performances, and community initiatives.

Podcast Production: Edit and finalize audio for podcasts, including sound balancing, adding music or effects, and preparing episodes for publishing.

Post-Production: Perform video and audio editing, color correction, sound mixing, and graphic integration to produce polished, brand-aligned content.

Digital Publishing: Upload and manage multimedia content on our website, YouTube, podcast platforms, and social media channels.

Social Media Content: Develop short-form videos, reels, and story content optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Email Marketing: Assist in designing and distributing digital newsletters and promotional emails.

Website Updates: Maintain and update website content. Ensure all pages are current and accurate, support SEO preferred and user experience improvements, and assist with basic layout and formatting as needed.

IT Support (Desirable): Provide light technical assistance and help integrate content tools across platforms and devices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience in digital content creation, including videography and podcast/audio editing.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects) or comparable tools.

Experience with podcast editing software such as Audacity, Descript, or Adobe Audition.

Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp), and social media tools.

Strong storytelling, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Interest in or experience with arts, culture, and community engagement is a strong plus.

Working Conditions:

On-site work required for capturing live content at events and performances.

Some evening and weekend availability needed.
