    LOCATION – CHICAGO, IL | CORALVILLE, IA | OR REMOTE-US 

    Digital Diagnostics is looking for an Engineering Leader for Production Machine Learning to join our growing team! The Engineering Leader for Production Machine Learning is responsible for overseeing software engineering activities specifically related to our Machine Learning team.

    Working alongside our world-class Machine Learning data scientists, the Engineering Leader for Production ML helps to further Digital Diagnostics' state-of-the-art ML algorithms and create reliable software components to move these algorithms to production status in our platform.

    This position will manage a team of software engineers and work closely with our Director of Machine Learning to measure and understand the performance of related technology components and suggest meaningful improvements (both technology and process) to achieve our business and technology goals.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

    • Experience managing/deploying/architecting ML pipelines in cloud.
    • Experience managing software development teams, and leading technical analysis & design, evaluating tradeoffs, and championing best practices.
    • A passion for solving hard problems with data-driven, iterative software development.
    • Advanced knowledge of modern web tech including JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, C++, .NET Core, React, Postgres, AWS Lambda, RDS, Fargate ECS, API Gateways, SNS/SQS/DLQ.
    • Experience working as a Scrum Master in fast-paced, agile environments, helping keep projects on track, and unblocking your team.
    • Experience in writing meaningful, useful documentation and tests, and coordinating cross-team collaboration.
    • Experience and domain knowledge in healthcare, especially knowledge of medical devices or software development in healthcare.
