    Locations: This program has positions available at multiple work office locations across the country.     Office locations with program and/or a larger cohort of participants Include: NY-New York City, MA-Boston, Co-Denver, GA-Alpharetta, IL-Chicago, AZ-Phoenix.

    The salary rate for this role is $90,000. Please disregard the range listed.

    Our world-class Digital organization at CVS Health is looking for talent to join us as we work together to revolutionize the health care industry by making health care more accessible, equitable, and affordable. Our CVS Health Digital Engineering Accelerator Program (DEAP) is a one-year rotational program with 6 months assignments in which participants are matched to Engineering teams, that are delivering key Digital Product initiatives, and participants will gain exposure to various engineering disciplines and technologies.

    Participants will receive:

    • Focused deep-dive hands on technical training and experience on selected engineering disciplines, mentoring from and exposure to senior engineering leaders throughout the year, and direct experience on building industry scale products.

    • Associates will build technical skills in critical areas while partnering across the organization to solve business challenges.

    Program participants will be the pipeline for future technology leaders across CVS Health Enterprise Digital. As an Associate Engineer in this program, you will be developing solutions to some of the most challenging digital healthcare problems. This role has a tremendous opportunity to leverage technologies to research, design, develop, and test compelling digital health experiences that will help tens of millions of lives. Some examples of rotational opportunities in Engineering include software development for mobile applications, front-end development, back-end development, platform engineering, security engineering, and site reliability engineering.

    PAY RANGE

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    • Minimum: 35,360

    • Maximum: 56,500

    Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Meet educational requirements (see education section) 

    • Team-based project/program work experience in relevant areas: Retail, Health Care, Software Development, or Digital.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects  

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships across diverse teams

    • Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare  

    • Experience in Software Development, Security Engineering or Platform Engineering with one or more programming languages: Java, SQL, React/Redux, Angular, Amber, JavaScript, jQuery, Node JS, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, C, C++, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.

    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    EDUCATION

    • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

    • Have an anticipated graduation date between May 2022 and August 2023

    • Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include Computer Science, Digital technology, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare, Marketing, etc.
