    Our internship experience is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on June 5th, 2023, and concludes on August 11th, 2023. The official hire date will be May 31st, 2023.

    The Digital Engineering Accelerator Program (DEAP) Internship offers a 10-week summer internship opportunity for passionate, driven rising college seniors who would like to gain experience as a Digital Engineer by joining a high energy and growing team who are committed to making a difference in customers' lives, and who want to be on the ground floor of digital innovation that aims to reinvent what a health care company can be.

    As an intern in this program, interns will have the opportunity to develop solutions to some of the most challenging digital healthcare problems. In this internship, you will have a tremendous opportunity to leverage technologies to research, design, develop, and test compelling digital health experiences that will help tens of millions of lives.

    The DEAP Internship participants will have exposure to various areas of engineering (e.g., front-end development, back-end services, platform engineering, security engineering etc.). Some potential intern placement opportunities in Engineering (assigned based on business need, interests & previous experiences) include software development for mobile applications, front-end development, back-end development, platform engineering, security engineering, and site reliability engineering.

    PAY RANGE

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    • Minimum: 17.00

    • Maximum: 27.16

    Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Meet educational requirements (see education section)

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships across diverse teams.

    • Strong research, analytical, written communication, and oral presentation skills.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

    • Experience in Software Development, Security Engineering or Platform Engineering with one or more programming languages: Java, SQL, React/Redux, Angular, Amber, JavaScript, jQuery, Node JS, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, C, C++, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships across diverse teams.

    • Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare

    • Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

    Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    EDUCATION

    • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

    • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2023 and August 2024

    • Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include Computer Science, Digital technology, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare, Marketing, etc.
