We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented E-commerce Marketing & Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to the growth of our high-quality body jewelry brand, Epoch. You will be responsible for the end-to-end customer journey—from creating visually stunning marketing content and managing our online storefront to overseeing inventory and ensuring precise order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is a “creative-doer” who has a keen eye for aesthetics and the organizational skills to manage physical logistics efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Photography & Editing: Capture high-quality product photos and perform retouching/editing to maintain a premium brand image.
• Website Management: Update product listings, manage product descriptions, and optimize the user interface on our e-commerce platform (Shopify / Squarespace).
• SEO / SGO Optimization: Execute SEO and SGO (Search Generative Optimization) strategies, including keyword research, AI-search content optimization, meta title & description optimization, internal linking structure, and improving visibility on Google and AI-powered search platforms.
• SEMrush Management: Utilize SEMrush for keyword analysis, competitor research, backlink monitoring, website health audits, and SEO performance tracking.
• Marketing Campaigns: Assist in creating and executing social media content and digital marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Fulfillment & Shipping: Manage daily order processing, including picking, professional packaging, and generating shipping labels (ShipStation, etc.).
• Inventory Control: Maintain 100% accuracy of physical stock. Perform regular audits and ensure jewelry inventory remains strictly organized and separated from other business entities.
• Logistics Coordination: Monitor inbound shipments and manage supplies for packaging and shipping.
• Monitor online sales data and provide reports on performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service via email or chat regarding product inquiries and order status.
Qualifications
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, SEO, or retail operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator) or Canva. Experience with e-commerce backends (Shopify / Squarespace / WooCommerce).
• SEO Tools: Experience with SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or other SEO tools is highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, especially in handling small, high-value items (jewelry).
• Language: Professional proficiency in English; bilingual (English / Mandarin) is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to efficiently switch between creative design tasks and physical warehouse/shipping responsibilities.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• This is an on-site position in El Monte, CA
• Occasional lifting of shipping boxes (up to 20 lbs) may be required.
